F.C Nomads win Halkyn Cup

F.C. Nomads captured the Division Two Halkyn cup with a 3-1 win over championship rivals Rhuddlan Town, Dave Parsonage scored the first of his two goals, opening the scoring on 28 minutes. Rhuddlan were caught square at the back following a long ball, which was then played across the box for Parsonage to slot in. The game was wrapped up with two quick fire goals on 53 and 55 minutes, again Rhuddlan were caught square and too far up the pitch for both goals, Parsonage adding his second, then Danny Wynne firing in a similar goal to make it 3-0. The goal of the match was scored by Rhuddlan, who staged a late rally, Rob Greenway struck with a smart volley on the turn, but F.C. Nomads were comfortable winners.
